In our busy lives, as we juggle school, extra-curricular activities and weekend commitments, how many of us make time to connect with nature? What if we knew that experiencing the natural world could improve our cognitive, physical and mental health?

Cheryl Charles and Sara St. Antione, of the Children & Nature Network, will present the latest scientific research on the myriad benefits of time spent outdoors, including: Reducing children's stress and anxiety, increasing their creativity, reducing symptoms associated with ADHD, helping prevent obesity and even boosting the immune system. We will learn practical ways to fit the proper dose of nature into our lives and, perhaps, become part of a fast-growing new nature movement.
