About the Event

Conflict between siblings may be unavoidable and inevitable, but parents can learn simple solutions to gradually improve our children's relationships. Join us for this interactive virtual workshop as Jennifer Gillette provides guidance, reassurance, and resources to help us best support sibling relationships, including:

- An overview of factors that influence sibling relationships
- Tools to prevent rivalry and jealousy
- Strategies to build sibling bonding
- Suggestions on how to decrease competition and fights over possessions
- How best to intervene during challenging moments

Jennifer Gillette Jennifer T. Gillette is the founding director of The Loved Child (TLC) and has almost 27 years of experience supporting the development of both parents and their children. TLC's parenting and wellness experts facilitate classes, workshops, and consultations for expecting parents and those with babies, young children, and tweens/teens. In addition, TLC's innovative Parents@Work program provides parenting support and education in the workplace for parent employees to improve work and family integration challenges.

Jennifer obtained her master's degree in Child Developmental Clinical Psychology from Tufts University. She spent almost 10 years at Isis Parenting facilitating developmental play & parenting groups, providing private parenting consultations, and creating curricula for the Child Development Program. Her clinical background includes work with families in Developmental Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Boston Children's Hospital. She has also provided consultation services to Walt Disney Company, Buena Vista Home Productions, Henson Pictures, Granada Incorporated, and Harvard University's Project Zero. Jennifer is involved in her local community and a proud (and active) mother of three teenage boys.
